Divine Connections: #SpiritualSundays
Believe me when I say this: God is so good! There will never be anyone Greater!!
I used to get upset when people that claimed to be friends and claimed to be for me, starting walking out of my life. Sometimes for the most absurd reasons but now I know it wasn’t them it was God, removing them and making way for the people he knew I needed and would push me further and get me on the right track!
When God has given you an assignment to complete you can’t just have anyone connected to you, especially your inner circle. People with direct connection to you need to be on a certain level, their are levels to your seasons and everyone won’t go on this journey with you!
Looking back I began to realize that some people I encountered were in my life for that particular season, they may want to advance into the next season but if God says no then believe me it will not happen. If you’re not looking at these situation from all angles, religiously, spiritually, mentally, emotionally, etc then you will be lost and will get it confused and become frustrated, but believe me you don’t want to try to find ways around it.
When I realized what had been happening and how it all works out for my good, I began to be less frustrated and accept the process and did my best to learn and take notes, so the next time I was faced with the exit of another person walking away or getting the boot it got easier to handle.
I also noticed that God will allow the right people in your life and when you accept it and fall in line, how everything just starts to blossom!
I shared this story just yesterday with the kickoff of the Love Who You Are Women’s Conference. When I came to Orlando almost 5 years ago it was to be here for my daughter that had just graduated college. She decided to continue living in Orlando and as a single mom I decided I wouldn’t allow her to be alone and gave up everything to be here for my daughter! I prayed about it and was given a word from the Lord that I still carry with me to this day. I came here with no job and no interviews lined up but I believed in God and my faith was strong.
Not long after we got settled I went to search online for any volunteer opportunities with non profits that focuses on women because that has always been my passion and the first name that came up I decided to call.
Making that call and deciding to begin volunteering for that organization set off Divine Connections that God put in place when he knew as a Single Mom I was going to follow my heart/purpose and my daughter and come to Orlando!
If I wouldn’t of been the type of mom that I am, I would’ve missed out on countless blessings! Would I still be an author? Would I have still been a writer/blogger? Would I still have pursued my passion for helping women, especially single moms live more empowered lives? Would I have become a Life Empowerment Coach? I had to come here to follow the will of God! I didn’t know everything at the time but seeing it all play out, it all makes sense! If I decided to stay where I was I wouldn’t of got to the place God needed me to be!
Divine Connections are necessary in our walk, in our journey and in our life! We have to be spiritually sound and in tune to notice when things are just designed to work out a certain way. We can’t try to change the process or the order because we don’t have the blueprint, manual or the plans that God has for each and every one of us!“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”. Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
